Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – Transfer to Chefchaouen

Upon arrival in Tangier, you will be welcomed and transferred to Chefchaouen. The drive takes approximately three hours and offers a first glimpse of northern Morocco’s landscapes.
Depending on your arrival time, an orientation walk may be offered, allowing you to get familiar with the peaceful rhythm and narrow blue streets of this unique mountain town.

Day 2: Full Day in Chefchaouen

Today is yours to enjoy Chefchaouen at your own pace. Stroll through its charming medina, capture unforgettable photos, and interact with local vendors while shopping for souvenirs. Tasting the local goat cheese, a regional specialty, is highly recommended. In the afternoon, a walk up to the Spanish Mosque offers a rewarding sunset view over the city. Optional activities include a guided hike in the Rif Mountains or a day trip to the Akchour waterfalls.

Day 3: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

After breakfast, departure toward Fes through the Rif Mountains on a scenic drive of approximately five hours. The first stop is Volubilis, where a local guide will take you through impressive Roman ruins and mosaics. The journey continues to Meknes, Morocco's fourth imperial city, founded in the 17th century by Moulay Ismail. Here, you will see key landmarks including the monumental gates and historic stables. Arrival in Fes in the late afternoon. In the evening, you may enjoy a traditional dinner featuring the famous sweet-and-salty pastilla.

Day 4: Full-Day Guided Tour of Fes

A full day dedicated to discovering Fes with a local guide. The tour begins near the Royal Palace, offering insight into modern Moroccan architecture, followed by a walk through the Jewish Quarter, highlighting contrasts between Jewish and Muslim craftsmanship. From a panoramic viewpoint, you'll appreciate the scale of the city before diving into the medina to explore landmarks such as Al Quaraouiyine University, traditional tanneries, Quranic schools, the dyers' market, and artisan workshops. Fes feels like a journey back in time, where traditions are still very much alive.

Day 5: Fes - Atlas Mountains - Sahara Desert

A long but rewarding day crossing diverse landscapes. Stops are planned for photos, rest, and lunch. You pass through Ifrane, often called the "Little Switzerland" for its European-style architecture, then continue through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas before lunch in Midelt. In the afternoon, the road leads through the Ziz Valley, offering dramatic views of palm groves and rocky canyons. Upon arrival in the Sahara, camels will be waiting for a one-hour trek across the dunes at sunset, ending at a nomadic desert camp where you spend the night.

Day 6: Sahara - Todra Gorge - Ait Ben Haddou

Early wake-up to watch the sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast. Camel ride back to meet your vehicle before heading west. Stops include the impressive Todra Gorge, popular among climbers, the Dades Valley, known as the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, and the Rose Valley, famous for rose water and oils. Passing through Ouarzazate, often called the African Hollywood, you reach Ait Ben Haddou, where you visit the UNESCO-listed ksar before settling into your hotel for the night.

Day 7: Ait Ben Haddou - Tizi n'Tichka Pass - Essaouira

Departure toward the Atlantic coast via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260 m), offering spectacular mountain views and photo opportunities. After crossing Marrakech, the road continues west to Essaouira, a charming coastal town known for its relaxed atmosphere and artistic spirit. In the evening, enjoy fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants.

Day 8: Full Day in Essaouira

A free day to explore Essaouira at your own pace. The medina is easy to navigate and ideal for wandering without pressure. You may enjoy a walk along the beach, listen to the waves, or choose from various optional activities. A traditional Moroccan hammam is highly recommended to unwind after several days of travel.

Day 9: Essaouira - Marrakech

After breakfast, departure for Marrakech. Upon arrival, enjoy a half-day guided tour including the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, traditional souks, and the lively Jemaa el-Fna Square.

Day 10: Free Day in Marrakech

A full free day to explore Marrakech according to your interests. Options include visiting the Majorelle Gardens, El Badi Palace, museums, or joining optional experiences such as a cooking class, food tour, or guided shopping experience through hidden markets.

Day 11: Marrakech - Departure

Transfer to Marrakech airport according to your flight schedule. If you choose to extend your stay, accommodation in a traditional riad can be arranged.
